@mule Man, you're being too prolific lately. You're giving no time to write reasonable comments! :-P

@mule Not at all. I do see where he's coming from but I'm just becoming more certain that I am and you are for that matter correct. Eliminating the irrelevant. Now I only know what you wrote of Gardner but my view in my opinion (tautology?) seems to be commonsense, at least 2me

@mule Because unless I've missed something we know one is a boy, thus rendering two girls useless. Unless you wish to say there is a probability of Mr Smith being a wise ass as I've recently suggested.
-
@mule In that case the answer would be irrelevant because Mr. Smith is just being a wise ass saying something in that manner. I know that's not the point of the posts though.

@mule that link is broken - and there's no update on SM either
-
@mule Maths, at this time of night whom are you kidding?
-
@mule What I say and what I do are not necessarily congruent though
-
@mule I don't know. I know I wouldn't watch as there would be too many doors and all the host did was open the doors. As the odds get reduced bit by bit , the answer is probably.
-
@mule And I say you may be but you never know because it's still 50/50 same as a coin toss
-
@mule My argument is more behavioural/sociological for the envelope (money), a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. I guess my logic in all three boils down to never switch.

@mule Let's make a deal is still a 50% choice, even probabilities since one undoubtedly reveals a goat, the choice remains between a goat and a car. Now let's get into the gameshow Deal or No Deal then we'll have some fun. j/k

@mule Tuesday's Child 50% Boy-Girl & Girl-Boy are the same thing since the order of the children is unimportant. The difference would be if you introduced genders such as hermaphrodites, transsexuals, etc
